DRIVEWAY SEAL COATING
Paved driveways are always beautiful, when new. They
are a deep, rich black color and provide a smooth
surface for us to come home and park our cars. However,
with time, our driveways decay. The outdoor elements
such as heat, rain, snow and ice degrade our beautiful
driveways.
In fact, if given enough time, they cause our
driveways to form cracks and even pot holes. Once the
surface starts to break up, you'll need to rip out the
existing driveway and have a new one poured and
installed.
To avoid this, we recommend that you seal your
driveway every three years. Not only will make it look
better, it actually will make it last longer. Sealing
shields you driveway from the sun’s ultraviolet rays,
which can deteriorate the binder and expose the
aggregate. Water and ice will also cause the surface to
degrade and seal coating will protect if from this.

DRIVEWAY SEALER:
Other driveway seal coating companies will often use
inferior material to seal your driveway. They often use
cans that cost $8.00 to $10.00 per 5 gallon pail. These
are usually just a thin coal tar or asphalt-based,
paint-like coating. Don’t expect them to last more than
one season.

CRACK FILLER:
It’s important to fill cracks and seal expansion
joints between asphalt and other surfaces, such as
concrete aprons or curbs, to keep water out and prevent
erosion of the paving base. Crack filler will handle
cracks up to 1/8 in. wide.
Absolutely Spotless will use a similar, extra high
grade crack filler, to fill in those spaces.
